The Story
These hand marbled gift bags are made from a strong 250gsm recycled cotton card paper. The bags are hand marbled using traditional techniques, and are not digitally mass produced.
Paper marbling is an ancient method of aqueous surface design which can produce very interesting patterns.
Oil-based colours are floated in a shallow marbling tray and designs are created with a wooden stick using a kind of painting technique.
